Do not use hot compress to an injection or vaccination site never ever. Never use hot water to press or wash the vaccinated area. Enjoyable curriculum:
Keep the baby busy in his enjoyable curriculum. Always leave them free after visiting a doctor. This may reduce the fear and trauma. If you always covered them he will understand that it was very scary, and so he will refuse this afterwards. Always leave them on their own circumstances to play and interactions with playmates. But keep an eye always for caution purpose. In an open area the chances of accidents always higher so try to be side of them but allow them to play, if they want to play, walk or run.
Loved food and drink:
Offer them loved food and drinks. Serve them in attractive ways also. Normally junk foods attract them the most such as chocolate, ice cream, pizza, burger, snacks, pasty etc. Try to make their most liked dish at home with some nutrition in a healthy way. Look that brings happiness to the baby and that promotes sleeping. After vaccination sleeping is very important for healing and feeling of well being.
Keen observation:
Never asked for any discomforts just keenly observe the vaccinated site by your own. When you seemed to be worried they also start to worry, so never show them that something happens to him/her. Do not ask anything related to the vaccinated site discomfort but keep talking to them, play with them, laugh with and spent time. Keen observation is important because, if anything happens to the site of vaccination you might take some precaution and some remedies to heal immediately.
Adequate rest and sleep:
Leave the baby to sleep. Getting enough sleep promote health of your baby. If he/she gets more sleep than a regular day, nothing to be worried. Because due to the incident that did not happened to them regularly they were also became tensed so after getting free and having sufficient food they might have a good sleeping. Enough rest also promotes a healthy brain developments and their proper growth. Nap is also good if the baby does not sleep but have a look whether the baby still in the trauma, if yes try to communicate and make the baby easy.
