Drink alcohol
Drink alcohol is not good for a pregnant lady. Habitual drinking women considered to be a High Risk Pregnant Women. Drinking alcohol increases the possibility of high risks in pregnancy.
High risk of pregnancy:
1. Increases the risk of miscarriage.
2. Preterm baby birth i.e. delivery before 36 weeks.
3. Having a low birth weight baby.
4. FASD.
Fetal Alcohol Spectrum Disorder:
FASD is a serious disease condition that may occur after baby birth due to drinking during pregnancy. This condition of disease effects physical problems and behavioural problems like learning.
Symptoms:
1. An abnormal appearance.
2. Short height.
3. Low body weight.
4. Small head size.
5. Poor coordination.
6. Behavioural problem.
7. Learning difficulties.
8. Problem with hearing and sight etc.
Drink alcohol during pregnancy is not safe for the reasons mentioned above. Baby in the womb was not safe when you drink while pregnant. Other than that the 37 weeks duration time was also not safe for mother.
This habit can affect mother as:
1. Sleeping disturbance.
2. Loss of appetite.
3. Nerve issue.
4. Fear of losing.
5. Fatigue.
When you drink alcohol during pregnancy, alcohol in blood stream quickly passes through placenta and the umbilical cord. This can affect the baby in developing organs including brain cells. That is why there is no amount of alcohol that you can consume at the time of pregnancy. Be sure that if you get pregnant you must avoid alcohol. Some time addicted pregnant woman asked that can I have some alcohol, can I have one shot etc. But the answer is no. you can’t have a little amount of alcohol during your pregnancy period. The result of alcohol consumption is unexpected and unwanted.
